Journal Stamping

It is mandatory for all students to obtain stamps from respective department for any activity offering ECC. This applies to events, workshops, fests, etc.

In case of a discrepancy in ECC points, the journal stamp is the ultimate proof of participation.
Stamping for ECC Events

Stamping for events conducted by the ECC will be will be done on the spot. Please carry your ECC journals to the event.

Any discrepancies in Grade/Points should be emailed to ECC at ecc@xaviers.edu latest by 10th April, 2026. No corrections will be entertained post 10th.
Defaulters Workshop Attendance

All defaulters workshop attendees should verify the points they have been awarded from the sheet below.
In case of any discrepancies, email ecc@xaviers.edu by 2nd April with a photo of your stamped journal.

Notice regarding Defaulters Workshop

On the spot registrations for tomorrows events (Defaulter's workshops) happen only' if we can accommodate and is not guarantee.
The LFL workshop will happen tomorrow (29th March) in exchange for the XFS workshop that will be conducted day after tomorrow (30th March).
Notice regarding Defaulters Workshops

ECC defaulters workshop is being held on 29th and 30th March 2026.
Kindly note that this year, no defaulters workshop will be conducted in the month of June.
1) Graduation certificates of TY students will not be released unless mandatory ECC credits are completed.
2) NEP Students will not be allowed to make up deficient ECC hours with SIP.
3) Registration is on a first come basis. Registration links will close once we reach our capacity.
Guidelines
ECC is a mandatory 6 credit extra-curricular course operating within the NEP framework. ECC is evaluated in Sem 2, 3 and 4, where points accrued in the respective semester is taken for evaluation. (Note: For Sem 2, points from Sem 1 and Sem 2 will be considered)
Points Requirements (AY 2025-26)

FY - minimum of 30 points by the end of Sem 2.

SY - minimum of 30 points in Sem 3 and Sem 4 each.

TY - no mandatory requirements.

ECC points are capped at 40 for a semester, and any excess points will not be carried forward.

Students are mandated to get their ECC journals stamped for every event/workshop they participate in.

In case of a discrepancy, the journal stamp will be accepted as undeniable proof.
